Key Responsibilities

As a Shop Assistant/Cashier, your duties will include:

• Process cash and card payments.
• Handle Lay-Bys and customer refunds.
• Report discrepancies to the supervisor and balance the till.

1. Merchandising:

• Ensure stock is correctly priced and displayed.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor.
• Keep the store clean and tidy through housekeeping.
• Stay updated on promotions.

1. Risk Management:

• Tag products according to company policy.
• Participate in stock takes.
• Monitor for shoplifting or fraudulent activities and report suspicious behavior to management.
