Zimbabwean-born Senior Scientist at Pfizer Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine to be rolled out in Britain this week, Dr Tatenda Shopera said he proud to be “part of the team that delivered this great Christmas present to the world”.

Shopera, who grew up in Harare, Zimbabwe’s capital, works for Pfizer, the American multinational pharmaceutical corporation which manufactured a vaccine VP Chiwenga hunts for COVID-19 vaccine in China for the novel coronavirus. Said Shopera:
I grew up in the dusty streets of Harare (Zimbabwe) and one thing that was apparent then was I wanted to make an impact before I leave this place we call earth.
