Ungodly Heist: Prophet Bushiri’s Church Ransacked by Robbers During All Night Prayer Vigil

In a startling event that has rattled the local community, robbers targeted the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) church during a night vigil led by self-proclaimed prophet Shepherd Bushiri. The incident took place on Saturday night in Mpumalanga and has left the congregation in shock.

During the vigil, as churchgoers waited for others to join, three armed robbers wearing masks burst into the church. They brazenly proceeded to rob the congregation at gunpoint. The robbers took an undisclosed amount of cash, along with 14 cellphones, personal bank cards, and even the church’s bank card. Shockingly, they also demanded the victims’ personal identification numbers (PINs). After the robbery, the thieves fled in a stolen white VW Polo Vivo, which was later found abandoned several kilometers away from the crime scene.

The incident prompted swift action from law enforcement, with Lt-Gen Semakaleng Daphney Manamela, the provincial commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, assembling a team of investigators to address the case.
