The Tshwane Metro Police Department is recruiting for 10 Cashier positions within the Support and Administration division to support the Transgression Management Subsection. This is a vital role in ensuring efficient operations, and the department welcomes applications from qualified candidates.

Job Overview:
The Cashier positions are available across all regions of Tshwane at job level T7. The annual salary ranges from R242,640.00 to R337,008.00, with an estimated remuneration package (including benefits) between R340,769.00 and R456,882.00 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
Cashiers will play a critical role in the Transgression Management Subsection with the following duties:
- Cashier Support Services: Capture payments on the system and perform daily cash-ups to ensure accurate financial processes.
- Public Inquiries: Address public queries related to AARTO (Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences) and by-law notices, providing assistance and clarity.
- Data Capturing: Accurately capture data for AARTO, Section 341, and Section 56 notices to maintain reliable records.
- Administrative Duties: Handle additional administrative tasks as required within the department.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics or Accounting as a subject.
- Experience: Background in an administrative and/or cashier environment.
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency in computer systems for managing financial software.
- Criminal Record: No criminal record (except for prior political activity convictions from the previous dispensation), no pending criminal or disciplinary cases, and willingness to undergo fingerprinting at own cost.
- Secual Offender Register: Name must not appear on the seual offender register.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work anywhere in Tshwane as directed by departmental management.
