While Mzansi is still moaning over the sad and tragic death of Namhla Mtwa from Umthatha in the Eastern Cape, video footage of the now-deceased getting sjamboked by her abusive boyfriend has surfaced on social media.

Namhla Mtwa was allegedly shot nine times by her boyfriend of 17 years in her driveway recently. She reportedly tried to leave an abusive relationship when unknown men gunned her down.

Following her death, social media has been up in arms calling for justice to be served.

The hashtag #JusticeForNamhla has since gained momentum on social media after photos and videos of the late Namhla Mtwa depicting the violence she endured leading to her passing were splashed on the internet.

One particular gruesome video of her getting sjamboked for 8 hours by her boyfriend, Major Mfesane Bhekezulu, has touched Mzansi’s heart.

In the video, Namhla was naked, and her arms were tied up while he whipped her savagely with a sjambok.

The video has since prompted a number of tweeps to demand her justice and to call for law enforcement to arrest her boyfriend Major Mfesane Bhekezulu.
