The government has released the school calendar for 2021. The calendar states that 2020’s first term starts on 4 January 2020 and ends on 25 March 2021.
The second term will begin on 3 May 2021 and end on 5 August 2021 while the third term will open on 6 September and close on 9 December.
The government has not shed more light on how schools will operate in light of the ongoing COVID-19 5 People Succumb To COVID-19 In 24 Hours pandemic which is still not yet contained. Schools opened in phases in September with some classes going to school for 2 days instead of the usual 5 days.
