The man, who was previously accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a young girl, is now alleged to have impregnated the teenager.

Calls for his arrest have intensified, with political figures like BOSA leader Mmusi Maimane reiterating their demands for immediate legal action.

Public Outrage and Accusations of Bad Parenting

The situation has only worsened following the release of a video showing the teenage girl twerking alongside her mother. Social media users are accusing the mother of not only knowing about the relationship but also enabling it by supporting her daughter’s involvement with the pastor. The pastor’s church and social media pages have since been deactivated, leaving the public with unanswered questions. The teenager’s Instagram page has also been removed amid the growing scandal.

Separate Sexual Assault Allegations Against Another Ekurhuleni Pastor

In a parallel case, another pastor from The Oasis of Life Family Church in Ekurhuleni is facing multiple sexual assault charges. Three female members of his congregation have accused him of sexual misconduct, with the charges filed at the Daveyton Police Station earlier this year.

National police spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe confirmed that this pastor was arrested on 28 February and charged. His bail conditions prevent him from contacting the complainants or their witnesses. The pastor’s passport has been seized, ensuring he cannot leave the country until the case reaches its conclusion. He is expected back in court soon as the legal proceedings continue.

Both cases have sparked widespread outrage, raising serious concerns about accountability and moral conduct within religious institutions. The public continues to demand swift justice for the victims.
