Halala! Baby Cele reportedly ties the knot for the fourth time

Baby Cele Sparks Wedding Rumors with Viral TikTok Video

South African actress Baby Cele has set social media abuzz after a video of what appears to be her wedding surfaced on TikTok. The video, shared on Kwanjomane’s account, shows the former Uzalo star participating in what many believe to be a traditional Zulu ceremony.

A Celebration of Love: Did Baby Cele Tie the Knot?

The video captures Baby Cele walking alongside her partner toward a beautifully decorated marquee, as an excited crowd cheers and ululates. While the actress has not shared any details or wedding content on her own social media platforms, the video suggests that the event was an umembeso, a traditional Zulu ceremony that forms part of the lobola negotiations.

The umembeso is a culturally significant ritual where the groom’s family presents gifts to the bride’s parents and extended family. It often precedes a formal wedding ceremony, celebrating unity and respect between the two families.

Baby Cele’s Journey Through Love and Marriage

This apparent celebration marks a new chapter for Baby Cele, who has been candid about her past struggles in marriage. The actress has been married three times before, with each experience shaping her perspective on love and relationships.

In her first marriage, she endured an abusive relationship, referring to her ex-husband as a “monster.” Her second marriage, in 2009, was to Mandla Mabuza, followed by her third union with businessman Thabo Maloka.

During a 2023 interview on Lungelo KM’s Engineer Your Life podcast, Baby Cele revealed that her third marriage had ended two years earlier.

“I have mastered divorce, honestly. It doesn’t hurt anymore because I just believe that if a marriage no longer works, it should end,” she said.

Ancestral Guidance and Healing

As a sangoma (traditional healer), Baby Cele shared that her ancestors played a significant role in guiding her decision to leave her last marriage.

“My ancestors gave me all the signs that it was time to end the marriage. I was really happy, but the signs were too loud, and I had to make the decision,” she explained.

Now single and mingling, the actress expressed her contentment with her current phase of life.

“I am happy. Right now, I am focusing on myself, and I’m at peace.”

Is This a New Beginning for Baby Cele?

While Baby Cele has not confirmed whether the umembeso marks the beginning of a new marriage, the video has sparked excitement and curiosity among fans. Known for her resilience and openness about her personal life, the actress continues to inspire others with her ability to embrace new beginnings.

For now, fans are left to wonder if Baby Cele is officially off the market again or if this is simply another chapter in her colorful and resilient journey through life and love.
