The Cabinet has suspended the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (Zimsec) June 2021 Ordinary and Advanced Level Examinations. The next examinations will be in November 2021.
The development was announced by the minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Senator Monica Mutsvangwa during Wednesday’s post-Cabinet briefings in Harare.
The Ministry of Information posted on social media saying this suspension will allow for timely focus on the November 2021 examination preparations. Added the ministry:
Logistics will be put in place to ensure candidates who wanted to sit for their examinations in June 2021 do so together with other students in November 2021.
