**Penny Ntuli Reports Fatalities as Stranded Motorists Endure Harsh Weather on N3 in KwaZulu-Natal**

Penny Ntuli has reported that several people have tragically died due to the severe weather conditions on the N3 highway in KwaZulu-Natal, where numerous motorists have been stranded overnight in heavy snow. The radio personality found herself among those caught in the extreme weather, which included freezing temperatures, rain, and a snowstorm, while on her way to Durban.

Penny, along with other stranded motorists, was forced to spend the night in their cars as rescue efforts slowly began to reach those trapped in the snow.

### **Penny Ntuli and Others Share Their N3 Snowstorm Experiences**

In a heartfelt post on her Facebook account, Penny Ntuli described the dire situation she and others faced during the snowstorm that immobilized vehicles across several parts of the country, particularly along the N3. The former Gagasi FM presenter was en route to Harrismith when she became stuck on Friday afternoon.

“Drowning in snow, no visibility. Flat tires, frozen windows,” she posted, sharing several pictures of the scene.

Penny revealed that temperatures had plummeted to a dangerous -1 degree Celsius, and expressed her frustration over the slow pace of rescue efforts.

“There are cars here with kids, and elderly people traveling in vehicles with no heaters. There is a pregnant woman behind us. They’ve been freezing for the past 16 hours. Where are the resources?

“Why do we pay for tollgates if you won’t issue help on the same roads citizens pay for?” she questioned.

Late on Saturday evening, Penny updated her followers, revealing that she and several other cars were still stuck in the snow, without access to food, water, or blankets.

### **Social Media Reactions**

Others who were caught in the same snowstorm took to TikTok to share their distressing experiences of spending the night in their cars under such brutal conditions.

“Nothing is funny. This is crazy,” posted @oneandonly_rori, who was also stranded on the N3 en route to Durban.
