Chants of “Mai MaKhupe muri nhumwe ” greeted President Dr T Khupe when she arrived in Sakubva , Mutare Central this Sunday. President Dr Khupe addressed an oversubscribed meeting of 2014 MDC-T structures drawn from Mutare Central and Dangamvura-Chikanga districts.
The President used the platform to outline her vision for the party and the country. She further emphasized the need for MDC-T delegates to unite and close ranks as they elect a successor to the late reverred leader Dr Morgan Tsvangirai.
Dr TK as she is affectionately known, vowed that the MDC-T will emerge stronger coming out of the Extra Ordinary Congress.
On their part, the genuine 2014 structures assured Dr Khupe that they will work tirelessly to ensure that she wins at the party”s EOC.
