Job Description
Are you passionate about cars and the automotive industry? This is your chance to join a dynamic team at Motus Aftermarket Parts and kick-start your career! The YES (Youth Employment Service) Learnership Program offers confident, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals the opportunity to develop skills and gain real-world experience in the automotive sector. Successful candidates will be employed on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working in warehousing, stock management, and related functions.
Specific Role Responsibilities
Binning
- Bin incoming merchandise and replenish inventory from bulk to pick locations per standard operating procedures.
- Allocate new products with bin location numbers in the correct warehouse area.
- Update bins and report stock allocated to new bin locations to your superior.
- Assist in replenishment functions.
- Receive and check incoming goods as per company standards.
Picking
- Pick customer and branch orders in a timely manner to meet order cut-off times.
- Pick from bulk locations only when stock is depleted in the picking phase or for bulk orders to avoid breaking pack sizes.
- Follow reasonable and lawful instructions from your superior.
- Adhere to procedures to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assist in stock take procedures.
- Perform daily housekeeping.
- Conduct double checks to ensure high customer satisfaction and prevent inventory loss.
- Achieve set standard operational targets consistently.
Scanner Control
- Issue scanners to operators daily and book them out on the electronic app.
- Receive scanners back, inspect for damage, and book them into stock on the electronic app.
- Report any scanner damage to the supervisor.
- Complete the daily scanner issue spreadsheet.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completed Grade 12/Matric.
- South African citizen.
- Aged between 18 and 25.
- Not registered on any YES Learnership.
- Not studying at any institution and available immediately.
- Required Documents (to be attached with application):
- Updated CV.
- Clear certified copy of ID (not older than 3 months).
- Clear certified copy of Matric qualification (not older than 3 months).
