‘Sabotaging her career!’ Calls To Dump Makhadzi Grow Louder For Wearing ANC-inspired Dress

Makhadzi fans are not impressed with the ‘Ghanama’ hitmaker after she showed her support for the ANC by wearing the party’s famous colours. Take a look…

Makhadzi has risen to the top here in South Africa as one of the country’s most celebrated songbirds with her Ghanama hit song.

The 25-year-old has become a household name with her vibrant music and energetic performances and up until now, it seemed as if she could do nothing wrong. She however recently got on many people’s bad sides after she shared a post of herself wearing an ANC-inspired dress…complete with a flashy Gucci belt…

MAKHADZI SHOWS ANC SOME LOVE

Limpopo-born star Makhadzi is undoubtedly a South African favourite. She has gained millions of fans and followers in a short period of time and inspired many with her story of rags to riches.

She has seemingly lost quite a few of her followers after she headed to her Twitter page on Sunday 24 October this year to share a snap of herself wearing green, black and yellow – the famous ANC colours.

In the caption of her post she wrote:

“Honouring the president’s invite.”

This did not sit well with hundreds of South Africans who quickly flocked to the comment section where they criticised the star for supporting the ANC.

Many of them advised her not to get herself involved in South African politics while others vowed to unfollow her on social media and delete all her music from their devices.

Not long after that, Makhadzi was trending on Twitter – something that prompted her to quickly delete her post, but not before giving tweeps ample opportunities to share their thoughts.

MZANSI NOT IMPRESSED WITH MAKHADZI’S ‘ANC DRESS’

@MrHandsome_ZA said:

“Cyril Ramaphosa is destroying Makhadzi’s brand by involving her in politics. The ANC criminals will do anything to convince people to vote for them. They don’t care about anyone, they just want votes.”

@ntsikimazwai said:

“Why is Makhadzi sabotaging her career???”

Others however said that it was unfair that Makhadzi was being dragged for supporting the ANC since it should be her decision to make. Many of them also shared posts dedicated to defending the Ghanama hitmaker.
