Tebatso Mashishi, renowned for his role as Kgosi in the popular SABC 2 show Muvhango, finds himself entangled in a legal predicament after being arrested by the police. The charges stem from an accusation made by his ex-girlfriend and Durban Gen actress, Nanamhla Dalisile, who has alleged theft against the actor.

The unfolding drama took place when Mashishi was accused of stealing a laptop and a smartphone from Dalisile’s Randburg apartment last Wednesday. The two actors had been in a romantic relationship, but Dalisile decided to end the connection earlier this year.

According to Dalisile, Mashishi came to her Randburg apartment to retrieve clothes mistakenly packed into her suitcase from their previous shared residence in Parktown, north of Johannesburg. Dalisile claimed that she had unknowingly taken Mashishi’s clothes and contacted him to collect them.

In recounting the incident, Dalisile explained, “When I was unpacking my clothes from the suitcase, I realized that I had packed his clothes in it by mistake. I called him and told him that I had taken his clothes by mistake and that he should come and take them.”

Mashishi reportedly called Dalisile on Wednesday, seeking permission to collect his clothes. Dalisile, who had relocated to a new apartment in Randburg, provided him with the location.

However, when Dalisile returned home after a gym session, she discovered her cellphone and laptop missing. Despite attempting to contact Mashishi to inquire about the disappearance, she alleged that he deliberately avoided her calls and eventually blocked her.

In response to the incident, Dalisile reported the theft to Douglasdale Police Station, leading to the opening of a case against Mashishi. The case was subsequently transferred to Fairland Police Station for further investigation.

Gauteng Provincial Police Spokesperson Mavela Masondo confirmed Mashishi’s arrest for theft and indicated that he will be appearing in court soon. The unfolding legal proceedings add a layer of complexity to the personal lives of these prominent actors, capturing the attention of fans and the public alike.
