Malema Chased away from Zoleka’s funeral

Before her passing, Zoleka Mandela made a list of individuals she did not want present at her funeral, including some members of the Mandela and Madikizela families, such as Mandla Mandela.

Zoleka, who battled cancer and passed away at the age of 43, also mentioned in her diary that she did not want Thiery Bashala and Leeroy Andie Cana, the fathers of her children, to be near her body.

She listed other names like Zukiswa Madikizela, Nsundu Madikizela, Zinhle Mandela, Zenani Mandela Senior, and King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo. In her diary, she added a note accusing these men of sxual abuse.

Despite Zoleka’s explicit wishes, Mandla Mandela attended her funeral on Friday at the Bryanston Methodist Church. He arrived with other family members but left the church just before the rest of the family departed for the Fourways Memorial Park, where Zoleka was laid to rest.
