In light of the recent changes happening in the opposition MDCT, or you don’t recognise it as a party, do you? I am sure you are quite aware of the recent leadership crisis in the opposition MDCT which was led by Dr Khupe, “as they say now” , that the reigns of power are now with Douglas Mwonzora. Did you follow this? The media fraternity is awash with news of vote rigging and a process marred by violence to an extent that some election agents were ejected from the voting process and a video clip showing one of the contestants, the only woman for that matter was clapped by the rowdy youths aligned to one male candidate.
What is your take as the ambassadorial teams representing your counties in Zimbabwe and does it reflect the culture of Zimbabweans generally in elections? If so, will this change in the national elections? How so is it going to differ in the national plebiscite and can the so called IEB be different from the ZEC that administers national elections in the country? What is your position and how do you take this election? Does is meet the minimum requirements of the set standards on elections whether internal or national. Does your silence then make sense when you break it only if it comes to national elections you start demanding what has been glaringly missing in the internal processes including the ZANU PF DCC elections must begin to happen at some stage?
We need consistency in electoral matters whether local, internal or national.
