Join the dynamic team at SPAR North Rand to drive the SPAR brand in the communities we serve through the implementation of Sponsorship pillars.
Purpose of the Position:
To provide excellent and efficient administrative support to internal and external customers and the Sponsorship team, including assisting with events and projects as needed.
Key Performance Areas:
- Handle admin tasks for the Sponsorship Department.
- Ensure all invoices and orders for the Sponsorship Department have required authorization before PO origination.
- Ensure timely payments to suppliers.
- Oversee the SPAR Women’s Challenge enquiry line.
- Manage stock control and stock take of the storeroom in Sponsorships.
- Support all Sponsorship-related initiatives and events.
- Maintain general housekeeping standards.
- Assist in other departmental functions (including after hours/weekends).
- Undertake ad hoc projects as required.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Computer literacy (essential).
- Good administration skills.
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
- Reliability and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Quick learner of new systems and processes.
- Team player, flexible, and prepared to travel when needed.
- Availability to work overtime and weekends when required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and self-driven to achieve results.
