The South African Police Service (SAPS) in KwaZulu-Natal has initiated a manhunt for suspects involved in a bold and brazen attàck on two police officers from the Umbumbulu police station.

The incident occurred when the suspects overpowered the officers, forcibly disarmed them, and seized their f!rearms. They then commandeered a state vehicle, using it to flee the scene.

However, during a high-speed pursuit, the suspects lost control of the stolen vehicle, which subsequently overturned. Undeterred, they abandoned the state vehicle and escaped in their own car.

The SAPS in KwaZulu-Natal is actively pursuing all leads to apprehend the individuals responsible for this daring and violent act. The police are appealing to the public for any information that may assist in capturing the suspects.
