Gugu Gumede ’MaMlambo’ is returning to Uzalo after 6 months but she is very afraid of this

Gugu Gumede has revealed that she will be returning to the small screen not long after the birth of her new little bundle of joy. The actress has been absent from public view for close to half a year, but she has now returned to the spotlight.

Gugu, who portrays Mamlambo on the South African Broadcasting Corporation 1 (SABC1) soap opera Uzalo, announced the end of her maternity leave on Instagram yesterday. She revealed her anxiety by posting a stunning photo of herself along with the caption, “I am so nervous to leave my little princess for the very first time.”

The comment section was filled with warm greetings and words of encouragement from a number of her fans as well as other celebrities.

Gugu wrote: “My 6-month maternity leave officially ends tomorrow 🫠 Excited to be back with my @uzalo sabc1 fam, but incredibly nervous to leave my princess. Mommies, what made this transition easier for you? Please send some words of encouragement 😩💕”
