House of ‘baddies’: Inside Edwin Sodi’s R75m mansion up for sale
Businessman Edwin Sodi’s upmarket mansion, which is currently up for sale, is popular for its ‘baddies’ bathroom.
Corruption-accused businessowner Edwin Sodi will no longer call his luxury Morningside mansion home.
This is according to the Lynn Estate website, which listed the famous upmarket property for sale for a whopping R75 million.
EDWIN SODI’S FAMOUS ‘BADDIES’ BATHROOM
According to the website, the mansion boasts a grand double volume entrance hall with feature wall, glass door, floating staircase and marble fireplace. Sodi’s home also features a 20 seater fire pit, outdoor cinema, built-in bar with cigar lounge, a spacious family room, gym, walk in closet, jacuzzi and a pool with deck.
Additionally, the five-bedroom en-suite home has six bathrooms.
Ironically, one of the bathrooms is popular on social media as it has featured on a couple of influencers’ Instagram content. These include Sodi’s current partner, Karen Zulu, as well as award-winning content creator Mihlali Ndamase.
In 2022, Twitter (now X) was flooded with images of both Zulu and Ndamase inside the same bathroom now showing on a property website. The images were shot at different times.
The same images have again resurfaced following news that the house is up for sale.

Other parts of Sodi’s extravagantly architected mansion have also been previously shared.
In September 2023, when he made headlines for hosting his lavish 50th birthday party, more “baddies” took to Instagram to share images of themselves inside the house.
SODI’S ALLEGED EXES
Besides corruption allegations, Sodi is also popular for being a “serial celebrity dater” or “babe magnet”.
The Blackhead Consulting owner is alleged to have dated these popular influencers and celebrities:
- Kefilwe Mabote
- Kat Ncala
- Thuli Phongolo
- Olivia Stephan
- Lizelle Tabane
- Sebabatso Mothibi (one of Andile Ncube’s baby mamas)
In addition to this, Sodi has also been accused of being a homewrecker.
In 2023, when Minnie Dlamini announced her split from her estranged husband, Quinton Jones, it was alleged that she had been cheating with Sodi.
He was also linked to another divorce in 2015, according to The Citizen, when rapper ProVerb revealed on social media that his ex-wife, Onalerona Thekiso, had cheated on him with the businessman.
Sodi’s home-wrecking scandals do not end there, as DJ Sbu’s engagement to Disebo Makatsa allegedly also ended because of him – Sunday World reported in 2015.
