I Failed TB Joshua When He Wanted To Open A Zoo: Prophet Walter Magaya
Prophet Walter Magaya of the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries has tearfully revealed that he failed his late spiritual father, Temitope Balogun (TB) Joshua before his death.
The popular but controversial Nigerian evangelical preacher died on Sunday. His church has been tight-lipped regarding the cause of death.
According to Magaya, who claims to be TB Joshua’s spiritual son, the founding leader of the Lagos-based Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) had assigned him a task before his death.
Speaking to his congregants, a tearful Magaya said that TB Joshua had assigned him the task of procuring two elephants, one zebra and two giraffes because he wanted to open a zoo in Lagos, Nigeria.
Magaya told the congregation that he managed to secure the animals after approaching officials from the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (Zimparks).
I went on my way, went to the parks, did whatever I could, secured the animals.
And I was so excited because I was giving him what he wanted.
Magaya said that he ran into hurdles when he tried to ship the animals to Lagos, as the Nigerian Embassy was not processing visas. The only exceptions were for humanitarian and diplomatic visas.
The PHD Ministries founder went on to say that he was deeply pained that he had failed to honour TB Joshua’s request before his death.
What pains me the most is the only thing that he requested dearly, I failed to deliver.
