The freedom fighter who recently died was offered provincial hero status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cde Sarah Zvidza, who died recently, has been laid to rest at Mashonaland West provincial Heroes\u2019 Acre in Chinhoyi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After playing a pivotal role within her home, community, and country, the late Zvidza, who was 93, was a political activist and a good adviser to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Addressing mourners at the Chinhoyi shrine, Mashonaland West Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution described the late Zvidza as a daughter of the soil who dedicated her life to setting Zimbabwe free and had always been patriotic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We are here today celebrating the life of Cde Sarah Zvidza, who was born on January 20, 1931, and grew up in Esigodini (Matabeleland South Province).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
