During the tragic incident in October 2014, when the goalkeeper was killed in what was described as a botched robbery in Vosloorus, east of Johannesburg, Kelly Khumalo, her mother Ntombi, her sister Zandi, Meyiwa’s friends Mthokozisi Twala and Tumelo Madlala, and Zandi’s boyfriend Longwe Twala were all present.
