Renowned musician Makhadzi has shared the heartbreaking news of the passing of Calvin Candiano, one of her accomplished dancers, through an Instagram post.
Makhadzi, celebrated as one of South Africa’s premier stage performers, attributes her success to the dedicated team that consistently delivers exceptional performances on stage.
In a somber Instagram announcement, Makhadzi conveyed the untimely demise of Calvin. Makhadzi Entertainment, in a statement, disclosed that the talented dancer departed on November 24, 2023.
The statement conveyed, “It is with heavy hearts and great difficulty that we announce the passing of Ntuthuso Kelvin Silosana, known as ‘Calvin Candiano.’ Calvin passed away on the 24th of November 2023.”
Mourning the loss, Lucky Tshilmandlila, Makhadzi Entertainment MD, expressed, “Calvin was a brother and great performer that we enjoyed working with. We, as Makhadzi Entertainment, will ensure that his memory lives on and that he is honored.”
The family has confirmed the sad news, mentioning that additional details will be shared once all arrangements are finalized.
