In a bittersweet announcement that has left Uzalo fans with heavy hearts, two familiar faces are preparing to take their final bow on the popular SABC1 telenovela.

Wiseman Mncube, renowned for his portrayal of the character Sibonelo, and Nkanyiso Mchunu, who joined the Uzalo family in 2022 as Siphamandla “Wizard” Nkosi, are soon to bid their farewells.

King David Mukwevho, the series producer of Uzalo, reflected on this departure, emphasizing that it marks the end of an era. He extended heartfelt gratitude to both actors for the indelible mark they’ve left on the show.

“We’ve had the privilege of witnessing Wiseman Mncube and Nkanyiso Mchunu’s incredible journey on Uzalo. Their commitment to their craft, their ability to breathe life into their characters, and the chemistry they brought to the screen have enriched our show in ways words can’t express,” Mukwevho stated.
