Accused individuals, Muzi Sibiya and Bongani Ntanzi, reportedly named Khumalo as the person who hired them to carry out the attack on the former Orlando Pirates captain.

The Gauteng High Court was informed that the confessions point to the murder of Senzo Meyiwa being a premeditated hit rather than a random robbery gone wrong. These shocking revelations have placed Kelly Khumalo under the spotlight as a person of interest in the case.

However, the court also heard a peculiar detail about Kelly Khumalo seeking cleansing from a witch doctor, a practice reportedly undertaken by the other accused individuals in the matter. Despite these allegations, Khumalo has yet to present her side of the story in court.

The courtroom discussions disclosed that all five accused, including Khumalo, sought cleansing after the tragic incident. Senzo Meyiwa lost his life in Vosloorus, Gauteng, while in the company of his girlfriend and friends in 2014.

This isn’t the first time Kelly Khumalo has faced accusations related to Meyiwa’s murder. In 2022, Colonel Lambertus Steyn testified that Khumalo was allegedly in contact with the accused individuals. According to Steyn, Khumalo and accused number five were reportedly in communication before Senzo Meyiwa’s murder, with two calls made on August 2, 2014, and October 15, 2014, lasting nearly two minutes and one and a half minutes, respectively.

As the trial unfolds, these revelations continue to captivate public attention, further intensifying the intrigue surrounding the complex case and Kelly Khumalo’s alleged involvement in Senzo Meyiwa’s tragic demise.
