The mind needs rest. Medical doctors recommend a person sleep at least eight hours a day. I know everyone is busy working to make ends meet, but the least you can do is at least six hours a day because, at the end of the day, you risk getting sick physically. Lack of proper rest will give you fatigue, and you will notice that if you are tired, you will not be as productive as you intend to be.

Make it a point to have more happiness and less stress. During stressful situations, keep yourself calm and look for solutions instead of worrying about things that you sometimes have no control over. That mentality will help you through a lot of difficult times.

Meditation is very important. Take time to review yourself and look deeper into your soul to find inner peace. Remember we said company is one of the important ingredients in this recipe? The same goes for meditation. Find a quiet place and be in a position that is comfortable enough for you to think. Avoid delving into something that will make you sad. Think about happy moments and what you look forward to in the future. This will help you get yourself together.

Make it a routine to clear your mind the same way that you clean your body, and you will see a positive change in your life, but bear in mind that it does not happen over night; it will take time and a little bit of patience.
